CONCESSIONS & NON-SCHOOL HOUR VOLUNTEERING
Sunset PTO has many out of school opportunities to support our athletic concessions program that are open to community members and Sunset students.
A background check & mIP profile is not required to volunteer in this capacity.

Click the link for the sport you are interested in and it will take you to SignUpGenius. From there pick an open slot, give your info, and you will be sent reminder before your shift.
All concession shifts are supported by a shift manager. Questions can be sent to volunteers@sunsetpto.com.
STAFF APPRECIATION: Throughout the year, the Sunset PTO Staff Appreciation team may create a SignUp Genius for a specific Staff Appreciation event. These items are usually dropped off at the school office. A background check & mIP profile is not required to donate in this capacity. Questions can be directed to staffappreciation@sunsetpto.com.
VOLUNTEERING DURING SCHOOL HOURS
Sunset has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities in the school during school hours including in the classroom or office, with the band or theater and in the College and Career Center. In order to volunteer on site during school hours, you must have a completed background check through the Beaverton School District mIP system (see below).

NEW TO SUNSET? Those with existing mIP profiles need to email update_volunteer_locations@beaverton.k12.or.us in order to add your profile to Sunset High School. Parents are not automatically moved from their middle schools into the Sunset volunteer database. All volunteers, chaperones, and visitors must have a completed background check.
NEW TO BSD? If brand-new to Beaverton School District, fill out a volunteer application. Follow the steps to create a username, password, and profile. The background check mandated by Beaverton School District is included in this application. Once a profile is created, volunteers will be able to update personal information, view and sign-up for open volunteer needs, and communicate directly with Sunset’s Volunteer Coordinator.
